The Shanxi provincial Institute of Archaeology,together with the School of Archaeology of Shanxi University and the Xingxian Culture and Tourism Bureau,carried out continuous excavation work on the Xiaoyuliang terrace of the Bicun site in Xingxian County from 2015 to 2018.Its date is about from the middle Longshan period to the late and the cultural relics unearthed here are mainly pottery and stone tools,with a number of bone,jade and bronze artifacts.In this paper,these 95 pieces of bone and mussel artifacts are systematically analyzed,which have been classified into three categories,such as production tools,daily necessities and ornaments.The making processing of these prefer to practicability and different types had a certain tendency in material selection,and there was no industry chain of professional bone making.Therefore,the productive mode were still based on material for it function and the bone handicraft industry probably was a domestic workshop.
