The Joint archaeological team from National Museum of China,Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology and Yuncheng Municipal Cultural Heritage Conservation Center discovered the cultural remains from Longshan,Erlitou,Erligang,Zhou and Han periods at Zone IE5 of Xiwubi Site in the year of 2023.the remains of pottery kilns that rare seen in Erlitou culture and special activities ground surface related with copper smelting and casting in lower stage of Erligang are the first found in central plain.These archaeological materials are the direct evidence for study settlement patterns and metallurgical process of Xia and Shang periods.
