Fengrun Site is located in the northeast of Fengrun Village,Fengrun Town,Jingle County,Shanxi Province.In order to cooperate with the construction program of Taijia Highway,a Joint archaeological team from Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology with Administration of Xinzhou Cultural Relics and Jingle cultural relics Department had investigated and excavated this site since April 2009.The archaeological materials from Eastern Zhou they obtained are of great significance to study the archaeological culture of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty in northern Shanxi.
