In order to cooperate with the relevant construction project in Yongji City,Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology and Yuncheng Cultural Relics Protection Center,etc.jointly excavated ancient cultural sites within the scope of the project from February to June,2022.There are total 20 tombs discovered,including earthen rectangular vertical pit tombs,urn coffin tombs,tile coffin tombs,etc.during the area of 1500 square meters.Those provided much more new materials for the study of the culture from the Warring States to Qin in the southern Shanxi.
