Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology had excavated 4 brick chambered tombs of Ming Dynasty in 300 meters north of Shijiazhuang Village,Changzhi City from November to December,2018.Among these tombs,there are total 192 items of glazed objects and 3 sets of epigraphs unearthed from Tombs M2 and M3.The epigraphs show that the date of Tomb M2 is about 1632,Ren-shen year of Emperor Chongzhen,and the date of M3 is 1589,Ji-chou year of Emperor Wanli.The owners were two Fengguo Generals.The burial objects include models of houses,furniture,food containers,pottery figurines,utensils and so on.These various materials are very important for study social life and funeral system of late Ming.Meanwhile they are valuable for tracing the origins of some glazed wares collected in museums.
