摘要
通过对历史剧《李亚王》单线情节"折头"并续接锡德尼小说《阿卡狄亚》中的一段类似情节,莎士比亚创作出《李尔王》的双线结构.在改编过程中,莎士比亚对素材实施了去冗纳新、虚实结合、改头换面、延宕高潮等技法,以使双线结构充分实现其艺术功效,表现为莎剧《李尔王》的情节设置能够兼顾陌生度与熟悉度、紧张性与丰满性,并产生"双重反光"效果,从普通历史剧转变为经典悲剧.
Abstract
The double-plot of King Lear is formed by twisting the first scene of the source play King Leir and then connecting it with a sub-plot adapted from Sidney's prose Arcadia.Shakespeare implemented techniques such as removing redundancy and incorporating novelty,combining vir-tuality with reality,altering and rearranging the original plots,and delaying climax,etc.,fully realizing the artistic effect of the double-plot structure.This is reflected in King Lear,which can balance unfamiliarity and familiarity,intensity and richness,and produce the effect of"double reflection",transforming from an ordinary historical play to a classic tragedy.
