Blockchain Empowering the Satellite Industry:Advantages,Challenges,and Countermeasures
As the underlying technology of digital currency,blockchain has the advantages of decentralization,collective maintenance,tamper-proof,and traceability.It is therefore considered to have broad application prospects in various fields.As a strategic emerging industry,the satellite industry requires security,reliability,connectivity,and privacy protection,which are naturally consistent with the core characteristics of blockchain.The application of blockchain in the satellite industry is still at the stat stage,and few studies have examined such integration.Firstly,the basic principles of blockchain technology are systematically elucidated,and a comprehensive summary of the current research status of blockchain technology in the satellite industry is provided.Then,several potential application scenarios of blockchain technology in the satellite industry are analyzed,with a particular focus on highlighting the functions and advantages that blockchain can bring to these scenarios.Finally,the challenges faced by the application of blockchain technology in the satellite industry are identified,along with proposed solutions,serving as a reference for the future extensive application of blockchain technology in the satellite industry.
