Review on Metasurface-based Transmission-Reflection Array Antenna
Transmission-reflection array antenna designed based on metasurface technology can achieve electromagnetic coverage over the full space range without increasing design complexity and overall size of the device.This technology breaks through the coverage limit of traditional transmission and reflection arrays,providing signal coverage in more and larger areas,and promoting the development of the Internet of Things.In order to elucidate the working mechanism of transmission-reflection array antenna,the technology of transmission-reflection array antenna based on metasurface is reviewed.The design methods of antenna realizing full-space radiation are summarized.The advantages and shortcomings of different design methods are analyzed.Some ideas are provided for the development direction of transmission-reflection array antenna,which aims to provide theoretical guidance for the design of metasurface antenna with full-space electromagnetic coverage.
