A circularly-polarized magneto-electric dipole array antenna is designed based on transmissive metasurfaces. The asymmetric transmission of circularly polarized waves can be realized by the chiral structure. The simulation results show that the x-polarized wave incident along+z axis can be transmitted into right-hand circular polarized wave and the left-hand circular polarized wave incident along-z axis can be reflected as left-hand circular polarized wave in the frequency band.In addition, the linear polarized wave radiated by the antenna array can be transmitted into right-hand circular polarized wave in the frequency band of 4.69~5.84 GHz by loading the composed array onto a designed magneto-electric dipole array antenna. The gain is up to 17.7 dB,and the metasurfaces antenna sample is machined.Simulation and test results verify the validity and reliability of the design.
