Frequency-domain Equalization Technique for Mobile HF Channel Based on Iterative Decision Feedback
For highly mobile HF channels,there exist serious multi-path interferences and the mobile platform has limited energy.A Novel Single Carrier Frequency-Domain Equalization(SC-FDE)technique based on Iterative Block Decision Feedback Equalization(IBDFE)is proposed to solve the problem of high-power consumption caused by the high peak to average power ratio and complexity of multi-carrier technology,which is used in mobile HF communication systems.Different from the traditional iterative block decision feedback frequency-domain equalization structure,the proposed technique adopts dual IBDFE structure,in which the output of one signal is used as the input of the feedback filter,and Residual Inter-Symbol Interference Cancellation(RISIC)is introduced.The simulation results show that in the same mobile HF channel scenario,compared with the traditional structural algorithm,the complexity is similar,but the error performance is better,and the reliability of the communication system is stronger.Compared with multi-carrier technology,SC-FDE technology has lower power consumption and is more suitable for HF ground-to-air communication of mobile platforms with certain requirements for energy.
