Concept Discrimination,Capability Goals and Applications of Space-based Internet of Things
The development of IoT technology and the maturity of space-based networks have given birth to the concept of space-based IoT.The proposal of national new infrastructure construction has laid a policy foundation for the construction of space-based IoT.Natural resource surveys, spatiotemporal information assurance, emergency rescue and disaster relief, etc.provide a broad application space for space-based IoT.Although space-based IoT already has a good foundation for construction, its basic concepts, capability goals, and application scenarios are not clear enough.Failure to solve these basic problems will have an impact on the healthy development of the space-based IoT.The relationship between space-based IoT and other related concepts is sorted out,and the driving role of related concepts on the future development of space-based IoT is discussed. Then, the capability goals of the space-based IoT are proposed, that is,target dynamic connection, rapid demand response,full-dimensional real-time perception, collaborative resource management, reliable information transmission, remote control of situation, and accurate service guarantee. Finally, the application fields of the space-based IoT are systematically summarized, which provides realistic demand traction for the construction of the space-based IoT.It can provide reference for the technical research and construction application of space-based IoT.
