On-line Monitoring System for Partial Discharge of High Voltage Cabinet Based on Active Spectrum Sensing
In order to accurately monitor the phenomenon of partial discharge of high voltage cabinet and avoid the risk of failure of high voltage cabinet and instability of power system,an on-line monitoring system for partial discharge of high voltage cabi-net based on active spectrum sensing is studied. The system consists of active spectrum sensing unit, acquisition and storage unit,DSP control processing unit and background monitoring software unit. The active spectrum sensing unit receives all kinds of electromagnetic wave signals generated by the discharge of high voltage cabinet, and carries out amplification, separation, filtering and spectrum hole discrimination processing to extract partial discharge signals. The signal is transmitted to the acquisi-tion and storage unit through multiple channels for analog signal acquisition and storage. The DSP control processing unit is used to calculate the stored analog signal and obtain the discharge pulse quantity and digital signal. The digital signal is sent to the background monitoring software unit to analyze the location and type of partial discharge, and complete the on-line monito-ring for partial discharge of high voltage cabinet. The results show that the system has an ideal monitoring effect and can accu-rately monitor different types of partial discharge signals and different frequency bands. In practical application, the high voltage cabinet with the highest partial discharge can be monitored, which can effectively avoid the failure risk of the high voltage cabi-net and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system.
