Spatiotemporal Early Warning Method for Lightning Stroke Fault of Overhead Transmission Lines Considering Transient Over-voltage Characteristics
Aiming at the problems of complex and changeable operating environment, continuous high fault rate, large propor-tion of lightning strike faults, randomness and unpredictability,a time-space early warning method for lightning strike faults of overhead transmission lines considering transient overvoltage characteristics is proposed. It analyzes the lightning strike mecha-nism and lightning current, determines the calculation method of lightning strike(induced lightning and direct lightning)trans-mission line transient over-voltage,processes the transmission line transient signal through wavelet multi-resolution decomposi-tion algorithm, evaluates the energy ratio of transient over-voltage in the signal frequency band, identifies the cumulative fault, judges whether the lightning strike point is consistent with the fault point, and determines the location of the lightning strike point using single terminal detection. It also completes the time-space early warning of lightning strike fault of overhead trans-mission lines. The experimental data show that under the background of different experimental groups, when the threshold val-ue p△ is 9.3,the lightning fault identification accuracy reaches the maximum value of 92%,and the lightning point location ac-curacy reaches 80%.Accurate lightning fault identification results and lightning strike point location results can be obtained, which fully proves that the proposed method has a better time-space early warning effect of lightning strike faults.
