Research on the Online Monitoring Method of Zinc Oxide Arrester by Considering Harmonic Effect
The leakage current monitoring method is an effective method for online monitoring and status diagnosis of zinc oxide arrester.But when there is harmonic interference in the voltage of the arrester,the effect of traditional leakage current feature is not ideal.In order to improve the diagnostic accuracy of arrester operating status under harmonic interference,based on the analysis of leakage current characteristics of arrester,a new feature based on leakage current time integral is proposed,and the principle of the feature is analyzed theoretically.The evaluation index of feature for the state distinguishing ability of the arrest-er is proposed.Through comparative analysis with other traditional feature,the results show that the new feature measurement of leakage current time integral proposed in this paper has better effectiveness and superiority,and the ability to resist harmonic interference is stronger,it can distinguish the operation status of zinc oxide arrester under different harmonic voltage interfer-ence.
