Optimal Charging Scheduling Model of Electric Vehicle in Distribution Networks Based on Convex Optimization
The high proportion of electric vehicles(EV)connected to the grid has brought many adverse effects to the operation of distribution networks. In order to alleviate the network overload caused by centralized charging,it is necessary to coordinate the charging strategy and realize the optimal scheduling of the charging load.Therefor,an EV optimal charging scheduling method in distribution networks is proposed.By determining the optimal charging time and charging power, the economy and stability of the system performance can be improved. The influence of financial incentives on the operation is also studied. The convex optimization method is used to minimize the total charging cost. The example simulation is carried out to analyze the in-fluence of the optimized EV charging strategy on the system load demand and voltage distribution. The results show that the method reduces the total charging cost and peak load, and improves the power quality.
