In order to solve the problem of data mismatch between host computer and PLC in current industrial control systems,a method of data compression for host computer using Bit-field is proposed,this paper receives other system data,analyzes the difference between the system data and PLC data,defines the structure of the corresponding restricted Bit-field,and completes the compression of the system data to PLC data with the help of the Bit-field.The compressed user data packet is sent to the PLC equipment.This method has been applied to the software of PLC host computer and has been successfully applied to a cab-in door trainer.The results show that the method has good practical value,and is more simple,more efficient and easier to op-erate than the traditional data compression methods.
