A new arctangent extended state observer is proposed with its bounded observation error for a class of high-order strict-feedback nonlinear systems with external perturbations.Combined with Lyapunov theory,a matched robust controller is designed to make the tracking error bounded.A simulation example verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.
