In order to improve the reliability of relay protection device,a flexible automatic test system of relay protection device based on LabVIEW is designed.The hardware layer of the tester is based on the test plan formulated by the secondary develop-ment layer.The PC uses LabVIEW to design the data acquisition module,data display module and report generation module.The communication interface layer uses the communication interface of the tester and the PC interface to classify and store the received data through the data layer.Combined with the data stored in the memory of the data layer,the flexible automatic test result of the relay protection device is obtained,transmitted to the PC,and the test report is generated.The secondary develop-ment layer designs the flexible automatic test scheme by invoking the data stored in the data layer,and transmits to the tester to complete the test.Experiments show that the system can effectively collect the running data of the relay protection device and complete the flexible automatic test.When the fault type is different,the relay protection device can carry out the protection ac-tion correctly.
