Beam Split Analysis and Precoding Design for Hybrid Far-and Near-field Terahertz Communications
To solve the beam split problem in traditional hybrid precoding architecture for broadband terahertz communication, time delayers are introduced into this architecture and the performance of hybrid precoding architecture based on time delayers is studied.Specifically, the issue of beam split in mixed far-and near-field terahertz communication is first discussed.Next,a hybrid precoding architecture and its performance are analyzed after introducing time delayers. Then,a hybrid precoding algorithm based on far-and near-field is proposed. Finally, simulations are conducted on the proposed algorithm and traditional hybrid precoding algorithm.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms traditional algorithms in terms of performance,so it can effectively alleviate beam split effect in mixed far-and near-field.
