智能超表面赋能5G-A/6G网络的思考

未来移动通信网络在满足用户个性化需求的同时将社会福祉作为网络发展的重要方向,基于对移动通信网络业务发展趋势和挑战的分析探讨,面向下一代移动通信网络泛在接入、绿色节能等发展需求,指出智能超表面(Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface,RIS)在 5 G-Advanced(5 G-A)和 6G网络典型应用场景,并从技术能力、产业成熟度等多个角度分析RIS在信道侧和收发端等不同场景下的应用价值。面向移动通信网络设备管控需求,提出了基于网络控制、自主调控和终端控制三种RIS管控方案,并分析了三种方案的差异。
Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface Assisted 5G-A/6G Network
Social welfare is regarded as an important direction for mobile network in addition to meeting personalized needs of users.In this paper,scenarios of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface(RIS)deployed in 5G-Advanced(5G-A)and 6G network are figured out based on the analysis of development trend and challenges in mobile network according to ubiquitous access and energy saving.Furthermore,we analyze the application value of RIS in different scenarios,including transceiver designed based on RIS and RIS-assisted wireless channel dynamic control.Finally,different control schemes of RIS with network control,self-control and terminal control are proposed and compared.In these schemes,control information distribution on netwrok-side is prefered for its samller impact on RIS area,cost and power consumption,and is capable of implement standardization of convergence of BSs and RIS devices from different vendors.
