Research on Cooperative Transmission Performance of Multi-RIS Auxiliary Communication Network
The performance analysis of multi Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface(RIS)aided wireless system is studied.Multiple RIS of the same geometric size are deployed in wireless channel to improve the communication system performance, considering that the wireless channels associated with different RIS are independent and non-identically distributed with different distribution and statistical characteristics.Based on the system model above, two goal-oriented multi-RIS auxiliary schemes are proposed, namely Exhaustive RIS-Aided(ERA)and Opportunistic RIS-Aided(ORA)schemes.A mathematical model of end-to-end channel based on moment method is used. The end-to-end channel coefficient can be approximated to gamma distribution.Based on this, the performance of the two schemes is evaluated in terms of Outage Probability(OP)and Ergodic Capacity(EC).The upper and lower bounds of channel capacity are studied, and a fast method for estimating the reachable transmission rate is provided. Results show that ERA scheme is better than ORA scheme in OP and EC.
