一种双极化1-bit相位调控智能超表面

智能超表面(Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface,RIS)作为第六代移动通信系统的核心技术之一,能够以可编程的方式对空间电磁波实时调控,打破了传统信道不可控的桎梏,重构无线传输环境。在实际应用场景中,应当考虑RIS的极化特性以及斜入射特性。设计了一种双极化 1-bit相位调控超表面单元,其上加载两个二极管,用于独立控制两个极化方向上的相位响应。仿真验证了该单元在两个极化方向下的 1-bit相位调控能力及电磁波斜入射下的 1-bit相位调控能力。将所设计的单元排列成规模为 10×10 的阵列,并验证了其波束调控能力。结果表明,该 RIS可以为下一代移动通信系统的发展提供有效的技术指导与支持。
A Dual-polarized 1-bit Phase Modulation Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface
Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface(RIS)is acknowledged as a fundamental technology within the sixth generation mobile communication system.Through real-time dynamic manipulation of electromagnetic waves,RIS possesses the capability to recon-figure wireless communication environment,thereby mitigating constraints associated with traditional uncontrollable signal channels.In practical scenarios,it is crucial to consider the electromagnetic response stability under oblique incidents and polarized characteristics of RIS.This work presents a dual-polarized 1-bit phase-modulation meta-element that exhibits a stable electromagnetic response under oblique incident waves.Two diodes are integrated into the meta-element,achieving independent control of the phase response in two distinct polarization directions.Simulations verify the capabilities of 1-bit phase modulation in two distinct polarization directions and the electromagnetic response stability under oblique incident waves.Additionally,the designed meta-element is arranged in a 10×10 array periodically,and its beam modulation capability is demonstrated through simulations.Results show that the RIS has potential to offer valuable technical guidance and support for the advancement of next-generation mobile communication systems.
