Design of Fast Acquisition of Burst Spread Spectrum Signal with Low Carrier-to-Noise Ratio
Burst spread spectrum signal is a type of spread spectrum modulation signal used in radio determination satellite service. In response to increasing sensitivity requirements for fast capture of traditional burst spread spectrum signals, namely inbound signals,a hardware design and implementation method for fast capture of low carrier to noise ratio burst spread spectrum signals is proposed. With a joint capture scheme of synchronous head and Walsh code and a burst spread spectrum signal fully parallel processing method based on Fast Fourier Transform(FFT),the integration time for fast capture and reception of inbound signals can reach 15 ms.Com-pared with traditional capture algorithms, the performance can be improved by about 2 dB.Simulation verification and engineering imple-mentation results show that the proposed scheme can achieve a carrier to noise ratio of 37.5 dBHz,providing an improvement direction for future global small-scale universal receiving terminals.
