Research on the Coexistence of Direct-to-cell System with Jumping Beam and Fixed Satellite Service System
This study examines the feasibility of coexistence between satellite direct-to-cell systems based on hopping beams and Fixed Satellite Service(FSS)systems. It analyzes coexistence scenarios between hopping beam satellite systems and FSS system as well as simulation research methods.Additionally, the study includes a simulation analysis of the downlink interference experienced by FSS system.Based on this, various interference mitigation strategies were evaluated for their effectiveness in protecting FSS system. This mainly includes geographic isolation, beam shut-off based on ephemeris or statistics information, and dynamic power control strategies based on interference level prediction.Final results indicate that, with appropriate interference mitigation measures, satellite direct-to-cell system based on hopping beams can successfully coordinate and coexist with FSS system.
