Converged communication is an important part for petrochemical enterprises to reduce cost and increase efficiency and essential safety.This paper first introduces the conventional design of telecom subsystems in petrochemical enterprises,such as telephone system,network system,fire alarm system,loudspeaker intercom system,TV surveillance system,security prevention system,video conference system and so on.And then it analyzes the communication requirements of enterprise business and services,puts forward that the converged communication of petrochemical enterprises should have the characteristics of extensive perception,efficient cooperation and friendly interaction.A typical design scheme is given to realize the effective integration of various telecom subsystems.
