Traditional robots are mainly focused on demonstration,with single function and low level of intelligence.This paper designs an intelligent explaining robot for the scientific popularization base,which mainly has the functions of active welcoming,intelligent leading,and intelligent explaining.The robot can recognize the visitors in the science popularization base and make a welcome speech to the visitors,lead the way for the visitors,carry out human-computer interaction with the visitors,and provide inquiry service and explanation service for the visitors,which is a richer and more comprehensive intelligent explanation robot.
