Apolipoproteins can maintain retinal lipid homeostatic balance by regulating lipoprotein transporta-tion.And maladjusted apolipoprotein levels will result in pathological retinal changes such as chronic inflammation,and lipid deposition,then contribute to the onset and development of retinal diseases.Therefore,it is of great sig-nificance to explore the functions of Apolipoproteins in multiple retinal diseases.Starting from different subtypes of the apolipoprotein family,this paper summarized the advanced physiological function of apolipoproteins and their roles in the pathogenesis of retinal diseases.
