Abstract
Oscar Wilde is the incarnation of the aestheticism,a literary movement in the 19th century of England,which exerts a profound influence on the European literature of the 21st century,even on the literature of the whole world.This paper interprets Wilde＇s tragic aestheticism from five aspects： independence of art,initiative of art,eternity of art,transcendence of art,and art＇s expressiveness and introspectiveness.
