Exploring the Effect of Actual Acquisition on the Sense of Gain among Higher Vocational Students Based on the Moderating Effect of the Perception of Fairness in Higher Vocational Education and the Difference in Family Background
To explore the relationship between students'actual acquisition, sense of gain, perception of fairness in higher vocational education and family background,a sample survey is conducted among students of higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province. The empirical analysis shows that the actual acquisition of vocational college students has a significant positive impact on their sense of gain. The perception of fairness in vocational education plays a significant negative moderating role in the relationship between actual acquisition and sense of gain, which means the stronger the perception of process fairness and outcome fairness, the weaker the impact of actual acquisition on the sense of gain. The moderating effect of perceived process fairness on actual acquisition and sense of gain varies with different family backgrounds, and the moderating effect of perceived process fairness is more significant in the group of students with better family backgrounds. There is no difference in family background in the moderating effect of perceived outcome fairness on the relationship between actual acquisition and sense of gain. Therefore, higher vocational colleges should focus on improving the quality of talent cultivation and creating a fair environment while doing a good job to accurately finance and educate students.
