The Impact of Digital Logistics on the High-Quality Economic Development in the Western Region of China
Digital logistics is the key to international business cooperation,and the technological innovation and structural optimization brought about by the development of digital logistics are of great significance to the high-quality economic development in the western region of China.This paper measures the level of digital logistics and high-quality economic development in the western region of China from 2011 to 2021,and explores the impact of digital logistics on high-quality economic development and its internal mechanism by using the two-way fixed effects model and the threshold regression model.The results show that digital logistics has significantly promoted high-quality economic development in the western region,and this promotion effect is more significant in the northwestern provinces and non-autonomous regions.The upgrading of regional consumption structure and consumption quality plays a significant moderating role in the process of digital logistics promoting high-quality economic development.With the improvement of technological innovation,transport accessibility,and logistics industry agglomeration,the promoting effect of digital logistics on high-quality economic development in the western region shows obvious non-linear characteristics.Therefore,it is recommended to improve the construction of digital logistics infrastructure,formulate relevant development plans according to local conditions,promote technological innovation of logistics enterprises,and optimize the layout of the regional logistics industry.
