As users become entrepreneurs, users bring new vitality to mass entrepreneurship and innovation. At present, the issue of user entrepreneurship and its performance has become the focus of entrepreneurship research.Taking 65 user start-ups as samples,a model for the impact mechanism of user start-ups'performance is constructed based on five antecedent conditions of organizational factors:entrepreneurial ability, entrepreneurial climate, entrepreneurial bricolage, entrepreneurial orientation, and entrepreneurial strategy. The fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis method is used to explore the impact of different configurations formed by the combinations of five conditional variables on the performance of user start-ups.The results show that entrepreneurial bricolage is a prerequisite for generating high performance among user start-ups.The configurations that constitute the high user entrepreneurial performance can be summarized as team-resource driven and strategic-resource driven. The relationship between high and non-high user entrepreneurial performance configuration is asymmetric. It is suggested that user start-ups consciously cultivate their entrepreneurial bricolage capabilities, and take advantage of the synergy effects of multiple factors, thus promoting the improvement of their performance.
