Evaluation of Urban Tourism Suitability in Zhejiang Province and Analysis of Its Influencing Factors
In this paper,the evaluation index system of urban tourism suitability is constructed from five dimensions:tourism resource endowment,tourism support,tourism performance development,tourism environment beauty and economic environment affluence.The entropy value method is used to measure the tourism suitability level of 11 cities in Zhejiang Province from 2010 to 2022,and the data panel model is constructed to explore its influencing factors.The results show that according to the mean value of the comprehensive index of tourism suitability,Shaoxing,Ningbo,Zhoushan,and Lishui rank relatively high on average,and according to the temporal variation trend of the index,the 11 cities in Zhejiang Province can be roughly divided into two types:the rising and the fluctuating.There are differences in each dimension of tourism suitability among the cities,which shows a certain distribution pattern.Based on the analysis of the fixed-effect model,urban tourism suitability is positively correlated with the number of A-level and above scenic spots,the density of cultural scenic spots,the number of employees in the accommodation and catering industry,the total tourism revenue,the green coverage rate in urban areas,and the proportion of the total amount of import and export to the city's GDP.It is negatively correlated with the total number of tourists and industrial wastewater discharge.Therefore,each city should make full use of its own advantages and make up for its shortcomings to improve its tourism suitability.
