Developing new rural collective economy and taking solid steps to advance the integration of village communities is an important way to resolve the problems relating to agriculture,rural areas,and rural residents and promote rural modernization.Based on the practice and exploration of Hemujian Village in Gaochun,Nanjing,this study applies grounded theory to explore the driving mechanism for developing new rural collective economy to promote the effective operation of village communities.The results show that new rural collective economy organizations can be embedded into rural society from the aspects such as system,structure,relationship and cognition,which is conducive to building a diverse village community.It is recommended that each village clarify the value orientation of organizational operation,deepen the core position of the organization,build a mechanism of interest sharing linkage,and improve the expected benefits of villagers.
