Review and Prospects of Research on Fresh Food Supply Chain Models and Their Efficiency
The fresh food supply chain,which connects hundreds of millions of farmers and billions of consumers,influences the economic pulse of the entire society through its development and transformation.This article systematically reviews and examines the literature on fresh food supply chain models and their efficiency.The research has found that the cognitive differences on supply chain models in China and abroad have led to a lack of clear interpretation of the concept of supply chain models in China.Compared with focusing on the specific operational details of various links in foreign countries,the focus of attention in China is on model innovation and efficiency improvement based on the system structure view.Although there are abundant research results,there are still shortcomings in the innovation and mechanism of fresh food supply chain models,as well as the merging of new technologies and new contexts,and methods matching.Future research prospects are proposed from four aspects:the mechanism and practice of pattern innovation,cross-cultural and localized research on efficiency,theory construction and practice of high-quality development,and exploration of situational methods around technology.
