A Study on the Personality Characteristics and Incentive Strategies of the Post-90s Counselors in Higher Vocational Colleges Based on Self-Determination Theory
On the basis of elucidating the connotation of self-determination theory,this paper applies its core viewpoint to classify the characteristics of the post-90s counselors in higher vocational colleges into three categories:self-oriented,competence oriented,and belonging oriented,and further deeply grasps the psychological needs of the post-90s counselors.Based on this theoretical insight,higher vocational colleges should develop more targeted incentive strategies,strive to meet the three basic psychological needs of the post-90s counselors and enhance their sense of work engagement and happiness by creating a participatory management work environment,exploring mechanism to enhance compound abilities,and building a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere.
