Writing of Hometownin Western Anhui in Jiang Guangci's Revolutionary Literature
Jiang Guangci was a pioneer of Chinese proletarian revolutionary literature who emerged from the Dabie Mountains in western Anhui.The revolutionary land of western Anhui deeply nurtured and influenced him,providing him with extremely rich materials for his literary creation.He often places his writing background in the rural areas of western Anhui,examining his hometown with a revolutionary touch,recalling his hometown with a writer's perspective,and integrating the rural spatial landscape of western Anhui into revolutionary narratives.In revolutionary novels and poems such as Young Wanderers,Roaring Land and Hometown,a large number of mountains and rivers,folk customs,and dialects of Anhui are presented,highlighting regional cultural characteristics.These best-selling poems and essays not only widely promoted revolutionary ideas,but also expanded the subject area of local literature in the 1920s and 1930s,and witnessed the revolutionary history of western Anhui from a perspective.
