Although"Chaohu Folk Songs"is a regional folk song of"Chaohu Lake",its regional division is not unified.Is it Chaoxian folk song,Chaohu district folk song,or Chaohu basin folk song?The regional boundary of"Chaohu Folk Songs"has not yet reached a consensus.Based on the natural,administrative and cultural perspectives,by combing the evolution process of the regional boundary of"Chaohu Folk Songs"and combining the aspects of humanities,geography,history and dialects,this paper explore the musical and cultural characteristics of"harmony but difference"in"Chaohu Folk Songs"through the analysis of music forms.
