Analysis of Total Ash and Extracts Content of Plantago Asiatica L from Different Producing Areas
This study compares the changes in total ash content and extract content of Plantago asiatica L from different origins and before and after cleaning,in order to provide a basis for the development of targeted quality standards for Plantago asiatica L total ash content and extract by traditional Chinese medicine slice enterprises in Bozhou.Samples of Plantago asiatica L are collected from eight producing areas at the Kangmei Medicinal Market in Bozhou,Anhui,and their total ash content and extract are determined according to Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2020 edition).The results show that the total ash content range of plantain samples from different regions is 11.72％～20.63％;the total ash content of the cleaned sample ranges from 10.90％to 16.00％;the extract content range of plantain samples from different origins is:15.35％～32.85％;the range of leachate content after cleaning is 17.10％～28.30％.In conclusion,there are differences in the total ash content and extract content of Plantago asiatica L from different regions,and the change in total ash content after cleaning shows a downward trend.
