With the deepening of the integration of music culture,as a local university musician,promoting the continuous integration of West Anhui folk songs and piano music has become an inevitable path to promote the development of West Anhui folk songs.Based on the detailed introduction and analysis of the regional characteristics and social functions of West Anhui folk songs,the contemporary characteristics and the development process of the combination of West Anhui folk songs and piano music,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the possible problems in the combination of the two,in order to provide some reference for the combination of West Anhui folk songs and piano music.
