With the release of ChatGPT-3,large language models have garnered widespread attention in universities.As the core force in daily educational management,university counselors are facing both new opportunities and challenges.This paper explores the application prospects of large language models in counselors'works and proposes coping strategies.By strengthening institutional construction,improving assessment methods,enhancing collaboration both within and outside the university,and enriching regular ideological and political education,the aim is to better leverage large language models to support students,enhance work efficiency,and remain vigilant against their potential drawbacks.Ultimately,this fosters a comprehensive educational environment that encompasses all individuals,processes,and aspects,thereby achieving the goal of holistic education.
