From the perspective of"cultivating people with virtue",sports volunteer service is an important way for colleges and universities to help the construction of a"sports power"in the new era,and an effec-tive carrier for ideological and political education in colleges and universities.The research shows that the integration of the concept of sports volunteer service and ideological and political education in colleges and universities is insufficient,the ideological and political education resources in sports volunteer service are not in place,the incentive system of sports volunteer service training is not perfect,and the publicity at-mosphere of sports volunteer service is not deep enough.Based on this,colleges and universities should clarify the main body of ideological and political education,further integrate the concept of sportsvolun-teer service into ideological and political education,fully excavate the ideological and political education re-sources in sports volunteer service,improve the management system for sports volunteer services in colle-ges and universities,create a good publicity atmosphere for college students'sports volunteer service,and actively improve the organizational system of volunteer sports services in colleges and universities.
