With the implementation of"One Belt and One Road"and the establishment of China(Guangxi)Pilot Free Trade Zone,Guangxi equipment manufacturing industry has ushered in a rare development op-portunity.How to train Guangxi equipment manufacturing talents to meet the needs of industrial develop-ment and better serve Guangxi's economic development has become an urgent problem to be solved.Through investigation and analysis of the current situation of supply and demand matching between the training of skilled talents and the development of the equipment manufacturing industry in Guangxi,this paper studies the matching degree of talent scale,training quality and curriculum system from two perspec-tives of industry and position,gives adjustment thresholds and relevant adjustment suggestions,and puts forward the reform strategy of vocational education in Guangxi to meet the needs of regional economic de-velopment.
