The cultural education work of university libraries under the background of universal reading helps to shape students'correct concepts,enhance their comprehensive literacy,and cultivate lifelong learning awareness.At present,there are problems in the cultural education work of university libraries,such as insufficient understanding of library culture by young librarians,lack of modern awareness of li-brary management concepts,imbalanced allocation of library resources,weakened educational effects,in-sufficient extraction and excavation of excellent library culture,and the need to improve the professional-ism of library staff.Based on this,this article focuses on optimizing the structure of library resources and fully exerting the role of cultural guidance;building a comprehensive education platform to promote students to enhance their comprehensive literacy;providing humanized services and fully leverage the ef-fectiveness of cultural management;carrying out diverse educational activities and expand the scope of cul-tural radiation;and build an excellent talent team and improve the quality of library services.
