Teachers'attitudes play an important role in their translanguaging practices. This study investigates Chinese university foreign language teachers'attitudes toward translanguaging pedagogy and the possible influencing factors through a questionnaire survey. The results show that Chinese university foreign language teachers in general have a positive attitude toward translanguaging pedagogy.Specifically, teachers of foreign languages other than English show the most positive attitudes. The attitudes of college English teachers and English major teachers do not differ significantly, despite the more positive attitudes of the latter. Moreover, foreign language teachers'ages and years of teaching experience do not correlate significantly with their attitudes. The study contributes to the improvement of the theoretical framework of translanguaging research and to the development of foreign language teachers in China.
