Currently,teachers of foreign language majors in China often implement ideological and political education by highlighting certain political and moral elements in a fragmented way in single courses,hence lacking the systematic utilization of ideological resources.Taking Ralph Tyler's theory of organizing learning experiences as the theoretical foundation,this paper explores an approach to coordination in ideological and political education of English major curriculum.By planning the cultural curriculum group as a whole,the paper puts forward an integrated system of moral education with objectives,contents,ideological and political elements,evaluation and extracurricular activities complementing and supporting each other.Coordination in ideological and political education is expected to enhance the effects of moral education,shedding light on ideological and political education of English major.
