In the context of new liberal arts,foreign language discipline shows a discernible trend of interdisciplinary integration.In cultivating foreign language interdisciplinary talents in the New Era,the interdisciplinary competence of foreign language majors deserves special attention.Aided by the Nvivo qualitative analysis software,Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process,this study conducts an in-depth exploration into the definition,constituent elements and element weights of interdisciplinary competence of foreign language majors.It then establishes an interdisciplinary competence model for foreign language majors,which includes 3 first-level elements(interdisciplinary knowledge,interdisciplinary ability and interdisciplinary attitude)and 10 second-level elements,with the aim of providing insightful reference for interdisciplinary competence training of foreign language talents in the New Era.
