With the advancement of economic globalization,multiculturalism and digitization,intercultural business discourse research has been increasingly prominent.This paper investigates and compares intercultural business discourse research at home and abroad,and reveals that the domestic research mainly focuses on business English teaching with inadequate use of mixed methods and limited interdisciplinary inquiry.From an interdisciplinary perspective,the paper examines five important themes of intercultural business discourse research,namely corporate social responsibility discourse,corporate leader discourse,advertising discourse,business negotiation discourse and corporate internal communication discourse,and explores four research methods including corpus-based research methods,content analysis,multi-modal discourse analysis and ethnography of communication,in order to deepen the development of intercultural business discourse research in China.
