This paper discusses the demands for foreign language graduate talent types oriented towards China's internationalization strategies,and analyzes the core competencies of foreign language graduate talents,namely foreign language proficiency,intercultural communication skills,global competence and international communication abilities.Then the paper explores approaches to cultivating foreign language graduate talents from four aspects:strengthening the top-level design of graduate programs,deepening innovative reforms of graduate training models,attaching importance to the collaborative implementation of graduate internships and practices,and promoting the building of cultural self-confidence among graduates.These cultivation approaches are aimed at enabling foreign language discipline to serve China's internationalization strategies.
