摘要
现阶段翻译学科建设的基本任务已发生变化,翻译史研究的目标不再是证明翻译有史,而是要丰富观看翻译的历史视角,丰富对翻译在人类历史发展中所起作用的认识."重写翻译史"已成为当下新的共识.要使翻译史研究更好地发挥理论建构和历史认识功能,需要重新思考研究对象和方法.传统的翻译史研究注重对史实的书写、注重以史为用,知识翻译史研究则更注重对史料的阐释,注重以史求知,其对象观、对象域有了相应的变化,是契合重写翻译史需要的一种有益探索.本文结合史学理论描述知识翻译史研究所蕴含的知识图景,并论述其学科价值与研究路径.
Abstract
At present,the primary task of the disciplinary construction of Translation Studies has changed,and the goal is no longer to prove that translation does have a history but to diversify the historical perspectives on translation and to enrich our understanding of the role that translation plays in the course of human history."Rewriting the history of translation"has become the new consensus.To improve the functions of the theoretical construction and historical understanding,it is necessary to reconsider the objectives and methods of translational history research.Traditional translation history research focuses on the recording of historical facts and values in the use of history,whereas knowledge translation history research focuses on the interpretation of historical data and attaches more importance to the pursuit of knowledge through history.With changes in its objective view and research domain,knowledge translation history is an effort to meet the need to rewrite translation history.In light of historical theories,this study provides an epistemological picture of the study of knowledge translation history and discusses its disciplinary value and research methods.
