As an important theory and practice guide for foreign language teaching,Production-Oriented Approach(POA)provides a workable path for effectively integrating moral education into college foreign language teaching.This paper explores the rationale behind the integration of POA into moral education through college foreign language teaching,and puts forward five principles that guide the teaching design of such integration.Then,it provides a step-by-step demonstration of how to design a teaching plan that organically integrates moral education into foreign language teaching within the framework of POA.This paper finally points out that a well-designed output task enriched with moral education elements is the cornerstone and prerequisite for effectively integrating moral education into college foreign language teaching,and that the teaching process of motivating-enabling-assessing is the path and safeguard for practically realizing this integration.
